I try my best to incorporate some of my punk influence into the songs that I write (sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt.) I don't like to limit myself when it comes to categorizing sound. I've been influenced by so many different styles of music (hardcore, punk, indie rock, grindcore, crust) and I try to use that in everything that I write. I want to stay connected to the scene I grew up from.
