Story behind the song
link Wray is an awesome influence on many guitarists of all styles. His playing is raw, simple, and in your f*** ing face. When you listen....it's almost intentionally sloppy playing but it is very effective and really cool. He is the godfather of surf guitar (ask anyone) and an influence on many of the most noted punk musicians.
His style is intense with his solos being nothing more than a few chords and a lot of tube overdrive through cheap amplifiers. His sound is something similar to that sound that you immagined you would sound like back in the day when you were just starting to play your guitar. Raw, nasty, and sooo cool.
