This song is dedicated to the loving memory of Danny (21 mei 1990 - 10 juni 2004), who lost his life in a train accident. His family and friends will always love him and never forget him. He's a star in heaven now.
(Sten:) I made Danny's drawing with one four color lead pencil. As it turned out, one eye had a different color than the other. This couldn't be erased, because it was a permanent color pencil, the eye wouldn't take another color. So I left it at this and later I saw that just this gave the drawing it's expression.
What happened to Danny couldn't be reversed too, but still: golden light is shining through his eye. I like to see this as the earthly and the astral Danny, and the divine spark shining through his left eye.
