I wanted to try some solo work, Bass pieces that wouldnt work in a song but could
My name is Michael Dennis, and this is my solo project, Cosmic Couture.
Its just bass, drums, and a creative mind.
I come up with alot of material that sounds great but simply wont work in a regular song, so I am attempting to create tracks that will work with said pieces.
its a learning curve for me so please feel free to offer advice or ideas to help me with this.
I currently am the bassist for Dennisty (check out our page!) we rock hard and I plan on maintaining the standard of quality and dedication that I put into Dennisty (Andrew as well of course!)
I am inspired by alot of bands on here so keep up the good work everyone!

Love the bass work! This track is rich, dark and full of anticipation/tension - it certainly speaks to the soul. I like the break and the way you have the drums on their own - music of the 60's achieved so much because they weren't afraid of spaces, short solos or silence, and I think you achieved the same level of atmosphere with this track. Greta stuff.

Killer groove, deep, gripping, a bit dark and emotional. Amazing how everything came from your bass. Really nice playing, enjoyed your lead work and how it flows and interacts. Excellent stuff!
The bass instrument is the brick and mortar of any good composition. your solo playing is outstanding...Great arrangement.
