In 2008, Donald W. Mohr collected some of Austin's finest to form a free jazz ensemble for live playing. Austin, having a primarily straight-jazz scene had seen similar acts in the past but they were few and far between. Difficult to find the appropriate venue, Nuclear Powered Winnebago ultimately never found a niche in Austin.

Story behind the song
I had created a Tempura with my looper, a delay and a volume pedal. From there, I recorded that into my multi-track, pressed rewind and played the first Guitar part. Then, I recorded the second guitar, then bass, then tabla which was played on an MPD.
