Story behind the song

This song was born from one of my life events:

A few years ago, we had to have a new well drilled. When the driller came he asked us to pray with him over the chosen spot, praying, " Lord, bless this family and generations to come with an abundant source of refreshing water."

Next day, I looked out the window as they were drilling and water was gushing up under the truck. One of the guys came to the door and said, "Wow , we haven't hit one like that in a while!"

As it turns out, they had hit an artesian well, with 10 gallons rising up above ground level per minute. We had to cap it and divert the excess to the creek to keep our property from becoming a swamp. But we always thereafter had an abundance of gravity flow water, even without electricity or a pump.

A few nights after the drilling. I woke in the middle of the night and felt the Lord was saying to me, "I am a Wellspring to you." Since I had no idea what a wellspring was, I went down and looked it up in the dictionary.

Wellspring is defined: An everflowing, abundant source. And so He is to me.

This is my first attempt at trying my own vocals. I'm not a professional singer. But...Thanks to Dale Crockett and his studio for the great job.
