This is orchestral music I composed using music engineering. I loosely patterned it after and was inspired by the "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King" movie song "Into the west."
This is music about a character, Luthien, in the Silmarillion who seemed to another, Beren, as beautiful as a nightingale. I incorporated sounds from reinsamba's nightingale sample pack, freely available at http://www.freesound.org/downloadpack/455/455_reinsamba_nightingales.zip into the song. I used my latest orchestral template that features new legato and cross-fade scripts for the Kontakt 2 sampler for the first time.
