Classical ambient music
Seizon are a one man band founded in 2007 by Renato Zampieri. History After splitting from the Death Metal band Gaia's Vestige which he belonged to, guitarist and composer Renato Zampieri decided to start a solo career, with the monicker Seizon, covering all genres of music more congenial: ambient, classical and post rock. Inspired by contemporary musicians such as Mike Oldfield, John Williams, Joe Hisaishi, Hiroki Kikuta, Jack Wall, Vangelis, Seizon presented an alternative plan, almost no profit. His music has often been put at the service of filmmakers, directors and producers. The idea of writing this kind of instrumental music's motivated by the desire to create a series of leitmotifs along the lines of those major films' soundtracks, but eliminating any structural, melodic and dynamic distraction. In other words, the music of Seizon is a concentrated, both in terms of the main themes, both in terms of the dynamics of sound, extremely compressed music such like Heavy Metal masterings. Line-up Renato Zampieri - guitar, synthesizer (2007 - ) Discography 2007 - Seizon and the ghOST Orchestra 2008 - The Dark Movements 2009 - The Amazing Journey 2010 - Goya Toca A Oz 2011 - The Last Vestige Of Gaia More infos "Seizon" monicker has two roots: an English one as a contraction of "Seize" and "Season" (and therefore meaning "Seize The Season"), and a Japanese one with the meaning of "Life environment". The topics covered at the beginning of his career in fact, just like Gaia's Vestige's, focused on the relationship between Man and Nature. The artist then began to explore cosmic fantasy themes (as in the case of Goya Toca A Oz, based on The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, and The Dark Movements, based on the cycle of Cthulhu).
