A song about trying to deal with the past, and trying to find a place to belong

Thanks for stopping by! My name is Bridgette Koteles. I've been involved with music since I was a small child. I started writing songs at the age of 18, and I try to write songs that will touch someone to the core. I love to write and sing songs of all types. I try to challenge myself where I can. One of my biggest challenges is producing the music to my songs. I've always said, I'm a singer/song writer first, and a composer only when I have to be. I'm in it for the music, because to me, that's where it's at, but I sure wouldn't complain, if it went somewhere.

Lyrics
You're in my dreams when night time falls, I follow you down empty halls, But no matter how hard I try, And all of the tears I cry, I can't seem to reach you at all, My Thoughts of you, fill every day, I don't know why I feel this way, But there's always been a Hidden place, Deep inside my hollowed heart A place that's always waited, For you. But I'm not really lost, There's just some things I can't forget, Going back to where I started from, May help me deal with my regret, I just hope to find, Some peace of mind, From this confusion in my head, But I'm not really lost, I'm just not home yet. For so many years, I've hoped and prayed, That I'd see you again, someday, Would we be like two strangers, Or like two long lost friends, But I'll never know, till we're face to face, Again But I'm not really lost, There's just some things I can't forget, Going back to where I started from, May help me deal with my regret, I just hope to find, Some peace of mind, From this confusion, in my head, But I'm not really lost, I'm just not home yet. No I'm not really lost, I'm just not home yet. I'm just not home yet.
