Chuck Schaeffer Band is a tasty, original four piece rock and roll band from Ft Lauderdale, Florida.
In 2007, Chuck Schaeffer was disgusted with the bar band scene; the seemingly bottomless pit of cover bands, wearing the same outfits, playing in local beer joints 'til 2:00 am for lunch money. It was musically suffocating. While he was already well-established as a slick guitarist, what he really wanted most was recognition as a great songwriter, to front his own band and create his own sound. That was the birth of CSB. CSB has a hard rock edge, but is never hard on the ears. Their songs are overflowing with compelling melodies, clever, infectious hooks, great solos and thought-provoking lyrics. It's immediately interesting and unmistakably original.

Story behind the song
I couldn't tolerate the intolerant.
Lyrics
In this Life nothing is black or white Some things will go wrong other things go right there is middle ground a balance to be found Hear me when I say: Try a little gray Try a little gray A little every day Push away indifference Abandon your resistance Won't you try a little Try a little gray. Today. When you think someone's wrong and you believe you're right your instinct is to fight and argue half the night If you hold a grudge no one's gonna budge Take the simple way Try a little gray Try a little gray a little every day Push away indifference, don't be so pessimistic Won't you try a little Try a little gray.Today.
