Lonnie Dunn, Singer Songwriter
Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Lonnie Milton Dunn. I was born into a musical family and was singing in church at the age of four. I learned to play the mandolin and guitar at an early age. I love to sing and play a lot of different styles of music. I started playing in clubs when I was a teenager, then later started working in construction and became a blaster. That’s my “real job” - blowing up rock. I have made a little money from music, but money’s not the real issue. It’s the crave of it, because of the love of it! I have another love in my life. First God, then family - my wife and two sons. I love them very much. They were a big part of the reason for me finding a manager down on Music Row in Nashville a few years back. I thought it would really help me break into the music business. I don’t have that manager anymore, but I did meet some of Nashville’s top songwriters. I got to write with them and sing a few demos. I even got to sing on Music City Tonight with Crook and Chase. I played a while in clubs after that, but then felt like I needed to dedicate more time to God and my family, so I put my music career on hold for a while. But as they say, “When music is in your blood, you can’t stay away.” So I am back to give it another try. I believe that God gave me a talent for music and I’m ready to share it with the world!

Lyrics
What A Time Verse: Times have been rough, but clinging to love Gets me through each day My needs are supplied, from God who’s by guide So I will not loose my way The time will soon come, that He’ll say well done The I’ll spread my wings and fly To that great city, and live in glory Where I’ll walk streets of gold by His side Chorus: Oh the angels will sing, I will praise the King I will fall down on my knees I will see his face, I will be embraced What a Time, what a time it will be Verse: Now is the time, to stand in the line Ready for that trumpet sound I pray for the lost, to neal at His cross So we’ll all be given a crown Chorus: Oh the angels will sing, we will praise the King We will fall down on our knees We will see his face, We will be embraced What a Time, what a time it will be Chorus2: The angels will sing, I will praise the King I will fall down on my knees I will see His face, I will be embraced What a time, what a time it will be Tag: Oh what a time, what a time What a time, what a time What a time, what a time it will be
