Story behind the song
Back in 1970 something, Neil Circonia was having a real rough time selling his music. You see, Neil sucked so damn bad, nobody would sign him. Then he met a college radio DJ named Ida Rathabestoned at some local swing party. Ida introduced him to a few people he knew, and before ya know it, he didn't suck so bad. Well, Neil put a band together called The Cubic Circonias, and it was all free ice cream and hookers from then on in! Blunt Smokin' Time is their eighteenth number one hit, at least in Neil's mind. In 1970 something else, Neil had a mental breakdown due to his band walking out because he started to suck again. This time, however, there was no hope. Ida checked him into a mental ward, and moved in with Neil's mother. Neil is still locked away in the asylum, on a steady diet of SSRI's and benzodiazepines. Ida continued on as a DJ, and hit's that ass daily.
