The band then found vocalist Aaron Cook, and formed an alternate rock band named Satellite 3. With Satellite 3 taking a break in spring 2011, as Cook goes to travel in China, Collective Surrender is back to finish and release the old demos. Story behind the song
An instrumental dating back to December 2009. It was created by Justin Storie and Joey Saha before they joined Satellite 3. It is the prelude to Satellite 3. The idea was abandon in March 2010 when Satellite 3 began. Collective Surrender has since restarted, as vocalist for Satellite 3 travels to China this Spring. The idea was picked back up and finished, while staying true to the original production, into the first Collective Surrender song. Seeing that the song was originally produced in a very amateur way, when the song was revisited the production was not revamped to keep the original emotions. The majority of the song was produced and recorded during a very dark time for the band.
