Satellite 3 started as a instrumental project with Justin Storie doing production and Joey Saha playing live instruments. As they kept making music they realized they needed a vocalist. Aaron Cook was then introduced to the band. Immediately it was decided the Aaron was the missing piece.

Story behind the song
This song was recorded in a rough version by vocalist Aaron Cook before joining Satellite 3. After the formation of Satellite 3, Ghost was rerecorded into a version more similar to what appears on "Everything Falls Apart EP". This demo was released with Apathy in May 2010. After months of no work, more vocals were added to the song. Followed by more synth and atmospheric sounds. Finally in October 2010 the song was completed. Slightly remixing in late Nov 2010, this, the final product.
Lyrics
After the dust settles When we can Barely live with each other Will you just talk to me And after the dust settles Maybe we can Be together Maybe things will be better And after all we've been through And after all that's been said After all these broken hearts I still have feelings for you Through the chaos raging Through the nights of pacing Holding on to dear life for The memories of you that Grace me Everything is so skewed From this distorted point of view I hate the fallacies of love You say that you want You say that you need Only yourself But if I could beg you If it would help to plead Oh baby I'd do anything for you If you only show me that you love me Oh baby, you would be loved And when the dust settles When it's all said and done I ask will you just talk to me And when the dust settles When it's all said and done Well, maybe we could be happy I don't wanna give up on you now I know that life is so much more Than what my eyes are seeing But all I've cared to look at for The longest time is you The longest time is you And those were the best days of my life I wish someone had told me That I had held on Too tight...
