We were all born the way we are so why do we hate??? I just as easily could have been born black, brown or yellow. I was born this was and I had no say!

Story behind the song
It's my diversity song.... We hate without knowing or thinking. How can I hate a person just because they were born a way I wasn't? We have no control over what color we are born. Let's get over it and start loving without thinking or knowing... I bet that would change a few things.

Lyrics
I was born this way
I was born this way
Blond and Blue and Tied to you
I was born this way
When I see pain in the night
Fighting for what I feel's right
And what are the rules of this fight
Oh God I hope not black and white
And what if you're not strait but gay
What will your poor neighbors say
You're looked at with eyes cast in clay
Saying you can't even pray
Pray pray ah
When you lose time after time
It becomes your state of mind
You become beaten, broke and bruised
We need to stand up once more
Together we'll break down the door
United through LOVE we can not lose
I was born this way
I was born this way
Blond and Blue and Tied to you
I was born this way
When I see pain in the night
Fighting for what I feel's right
And what are the rules of this fight
Oh God I hope not black and white
And what if you're not strait but gay
What will your poor neighbors say
You're looked at with eyes cast in clay
Saying you can't even pray
Pray pray ah
I was born this way
I was born this way
I was born this way
