This sounds like an Old English Ballad, but it takes some surprising twists and turns! Janet's voice has been described as soft corduroy.

Story behind the song
This was another channelled song, one that came out of nowhere one day as I was sitting on my couch. When I was finished I thought, Who is Julian? I know that there is a part of me and my own yearnings in this song. I love the power and juxtaposition of the verses and choruses......
Lyrics
Am G F Em Am Julian sneaks to the balcony, and whispers his dear lady’s name Am G F Em Am He cautiously asks, “Won’t you come to me, and we’ll dance in the moonlight again?” Am G F Em Am Putting her hand in her simple robe, she moves to the window with ease Am G F Em Am He gathers her up in his loving arms, And brimming with joy, she agrees. Am G F Em Am Julian Cradles her body then, and carries her down to the ground Am G F Em Am He places her gently upon the land, we’ll go where we’ll never be found. Am G F Em Am Freedom, Freedom, Oh freedom, it rings in their ears. Am G F Em Am Freedom, Freedom, for freedom, they’ve waited for years.... Am G F Em Am Together they walk to the forest near, and they settle amid the tall pines Am G F Em Am They touch and caress, but no further go....the rest it is left to their minds Am G F Em Am They lie in their nest for the whole night through, and speak of the love in their hearts Am G F Em Am And just before dawn to the balcony, he and his lady depart. Am G F Em Am Freedom, Freedom, Oh freedom, it rings in their ears. Am G F Em Am Freedom, Freedom, for freedom, they’ve waited for years.. Am G F Em Am They go separate ways, for the moon is gone. She thinks that it all was a dream Am G F Em Am She remembers a man she called Julian, then starts on her daily routine Am G F Em Am The days pass, she still thinks of Julian, and recalls how he whispered her name Am G Then she hears him call out, “Won’t you come to me, F Em Am (intensly/passionately) Am Em Am and we’ll dance in the moonlight again?” Am Em Am Em Dm Em AM Em Freedom, Freedom, Oh freedom, it rang in their ears. Am Em Am Em Dm Em AM Em Freedom, Freedom, for freedom, they’d waited for years.. Am Em Am Em Dm Em AM Em Freedom, Freedom, Oh freedom, it rang in their ears. Am Em Am Em Dm Em
