Slow blues with piano and soprano sax solos. A Yamha 5C mpc is used on the sop. Mama Kitty was a fine young cat.
Just an old man having fun.
I just started this page to have a place to post clips where friends can find them. I play light "old school" (because I am old) jazz on several instruments. I started recently recording clips on a laptop using a good mic to compare the sounds of different setups for the saxes. I only have one clip at the moment that does not use copyrighted songs. I'll get busy and do some more.

Story behind the song
Mama Kitty was a neighborhood stray that we fed for a couple of weeks before she brought here 5 kittens into our garage. They were 3 weeks old and she was only about a year old. We raised them to an age where we could give them away. The gray long-hair went quickly to a good home nearby. The other four, all black like Mama, are still with use. We got them all different-colored collars. They became Danny, Eloise, Fred and George. The naming system started when we rescued Alex, Buddy abd Charley from the dogs next door at age 4 weeks. They remain with us, occupying my former music room. Mama died of a heart attack on the way to the vet for a routine vaxination at age 2 1/2.
