Welcome to the music of Mark Wilson. I write songs, play bass, sing, and lately... play a little fingerstyle guitar. I am also in the learning process of recording some of my songs (old and new). Hope to have some fun and create some worthwhile recordings. Best of all... "I'm gonna get by with a little help from my friends.'' So... just getting started here... more to come. A special thanks to Mike Shelton for lending his talent to this effort. His leadwork on dobro and guitar is featured on 'Take Me Back', and 'One More Reason'. Oh and one other thing. I don't have the time or intention to make this come out perfect. Hopefully, it's good enough to reward your time listening. Thanks, Mark Wilson K-Vegas, NC

Story behind the song
A good friend Mike Shelton once suggested recording this song using his dobro. It always stuck in my mind. Lately, when I needed a song to test out new software, I thought of this old Sunday standard.
Lyrics
When the trumpet of the Lord shall sound, and time shall be no more, And the morning breaks, eternal, bright and fair; When the saved of earth shall gather over on the other shore, And the roll is called up yonder, I'll be there. Refrain: When the roll is called up yonder, When the roll is called up yonder, When the roll is called up yonder, When the roll is called up yonder, I'll be there.

Hey guys… (Mark et.al.) Being a sucker for the old Classic Hymns (Amazing Grace, My Fathers World etc…), I’m glad you guys picked another to test with. This was very tastefully and professionally done, with feeling and class. Not overdone, or over played. I also greatly enjoyed the vocals (including the harmonies)… All-in-all “outstanding” job!
