Story behind the song
i was visiting friends.we talked about music. someone asked me, did you ever record "the winter". no i hadn't. next morning i woke up, everything was white outside....
i got up immediately, grabbed my mirophone, put it onto the balcony and recorded the footsteps - in pyjama and slippers...
the rest of the music, except the bass and my voice, is all noises from my room: the central heating gives this undistinct layer, the cats eating their crunchies give the rhythm and my cornflakes bowl and the tea glass deliver the "melodies"...
the whole thing was composed on atari...
