rose:mari is an experimental duo project centered around self-expression; delving into many genres of music, ultimately to provide an auditory backdrop of human emotions. With an unclassifiable sound, rose:mari is simply a new experience for any listener. Their image is centered around the Japanese visual kei culture, and musical influence stretches from jazz, classical, French chansons, all the way to underground hardcore, punk, avant garde, dub, ambient and more. rose:mari was formed in April 2009 by Celestin and Yofiel; both formerly of the band Aura V'eil. They are currently finishing their first full-length album, which will be released early fall in 2010; titled "Last Letter".
