Acoustic rock and folk rock with country, blues, and American Songbook influences.
Formerly "Dr. C and the Stratocats," I'm now on a solo career as "Dr. C," but I had to change my stage name here because someone else had already claimed it. My music strives for melody above all else; I strive to make my songs memorable, so you can whistle a tune immediately. I see melody as the element most lacking in contemporaryr music. I love Sinatra and the Beatles, Gordon Lightfoot, Paul Simon, anyone who can write a memorable "tune."

Lyrics
44 Though I had more than 44 eyes I can't take my eyes off of you Though I had more than 44 lives I can't live a life without you You're my grace in need You lift up my heart You're my soul's own creed You lift up my heart I'll never depart I'll never depart Though I had more than 44 ears I'd always listen for you Though I had more than 44 hands I live to be touched by you My pearl of great price You lift up my heart And my widow's mite You lift up my heart I'll never depart I'll never depart If I had an animal's senses I'd never lose track of you I want you in my hair and clothes I want to remember you You're my one true love My one true love Those before were wrong Before were wrong I give you my song I give you my song (instrumental break) You're my one true love My one true love Those before were wrong Before were wrong I give you my song I give you my song
