Story behind the song
written over a week, triggered by lunch convo with jenny van & emoness first attempt recording direct from CP33.. took forever to get the piano part right (which ended up sounding too mechanical :[ )... and by that time i was too lazy to add in more stuff. thanks to various friends for the moral support & literary contribution :]
Lyrics
in the moonglow two travellers meet on the same road pacing for hours until dawn shifts in the light mystery gone wine and loaves shared pulled from a backpack the sea-smell for ancestor incense we mean well grasping for sunshine while it stays and paves the way some days the pieces lie perfectly in a row before the magic turns to grey timekeeper watches the story unfold till we're on our way a different path, a different place before the day's close we smooth over lines on each face wounds wrapped up with strange knowing gleaning well beauty unearthed for this time a brighter path, another day
