Bluesy acoustic tune about the way a dog approaches the world as compared to people
Hi there. My name's Amanda Pfeifer. I come from a family that loves music. I've been writing some songs, and my dad was kind enough to offer to record them. He helped produce them and did all of the instrumentation.
Story behind the song
This is a song co-written with my uncle Mike Pfeifer, my dad, and me. The song started as a poem written by my Uncle Mike about his dog. My dad and I wrote the music and added a chorus section

If a man walks a dog walk for a mile and a half
and then they turn around and walk back home,
The man calculates how many miles they have strolled
the dog runs into the yard and finds a bone.

My life, is getting complicated,
Seems like, I'm feeling more frustrated,

Just a domesticated wolf with carnivore teeth
and a wary disposition toward the world
but he's faithful to the end, he’s always ready to defend
