Flavors of great guitar bands from the 60's through today season Dukes Nitemare's own blend of melodic, guitar driven rock'n'roll. Catchy hooks and vocal harmo

Story behind the song
Early in the touring days of the band, Dukes Nitemare took the drive down to Macon, GA, and came away with some mason jars of pure corn whiskey and this number. That about says it all!
Lyrics
Woke up Monday morning Nitemares echo in my head Lay it down on Tuesday evening Remembering what she said Headed down that Dixie highway Blacktop calling out my name Pulling in to Macon, Georgia Know I'll never be the same Chorus: I believe in yesterday I believe there's a price to pay I believe in yesterday But yesterday's gone, long gone Woke up Monday morning, feeling all alone Carolina, she keeps calling But it's a long, long way... A long, long way to home [Chorus]
