Story behind the song
This song was quite the pain in the ass actually. Looking at the Guitar Pro file I started writing it July 17th so it's been just over a month to get it finished.
I actually had an elaborate tapping part that was supposed to come after the first breakdown. For some reason it sounded great in Guitar Pro but once I got it recorded it sounded like total garbage so I ended up scrapping it after hours of tweaking to no avail. This resulted in having to stop and rewrite the last half of the song.
So yeah, quite the annoying song this one (hence the title). In the end it turned out pretty sick though. I think this is a big step forward for me in terms of writing. It actually has a rather simple structure (verse breakdown chorus verse breakdown chorus 2) which I think results in a metric ton of groove and bruuutals imo.
