I get depressed during the winter. Seeing dead grass, bare trees, and gray skies for days on end makes me sad.

Right now "Then Don't" is just one guy, a guitar and a lot of pent up frustration. I use songwriting as a release for negativity, and it comes out in my music. I am strongly influenced by the rock music of the early 90's.

Story behind the song
I get depressed during the winter months, it never fails every year. When I get that way I'm pretty unresponsive to everyone and a little hard to be around in general. A friend of mine once asked me, why be so down all the time, and when I told them I didn't have any reason not to be they replied, "You still have your health." Most of the lyrics in this song is just me "talking to myself", having a conversation inside my head.
Lyrics
Are your bones still healthy is your blood still strong do you still have what God gave you This inherited weakness that we must endure Just the other day you said you don't really care no more when the sky grew dark for winter then all hell broke loose cotton makes good earplugs and hemp makes a good noose Are your bones still healthy is your blood still strong do you still have what God gave you They sky was all gray and the grass was all brown and I went out looking for you but you were no where to be found then I saw you walking by yourself out under the bare trees you had tears in your eyes and you wouldn't talk to me Are your bones still healthy is your blood still strong do you still have what God gave you Then as snow began to fall you said you'd forget it all life could begin anew Summer is over
