Boot Heel swing
The 1st verse is the "almost" stock standard version by Herb Remington as he wrote in 1946.
After that, all the arrangements are from myself.
Therefore, I have changed the name from "Boot Heel Drag" to "Boot Heel Swing".
I play all the instruments. They are "multitracked" on Audacity software on my laptop.
The lapsteel (Karrera) is a single neck & is tuned to C6.
That is C-E-G-A-C-E.
I have turned the reverb up on the lapsteel to give it a "valve amp" sound; the sound I heard when I used to hear my Grandfather play his lapsteel in the 60's.
The rhythm is all 7th's & 9th's to give dat country swing feel.
I learn't this from You tube.
Being from Australia, we had not heard of Herb Remington.
The internet age has cetainly made us a global village !.
