For over 40 years I played lead guitar and did back-up vocals in various country bands. It has been one of the greatest thrills of my life. But, these days I stay at home and compose songs, both lyrics and music. My writing style is much broader than just country music. Sweet Jenny Lynn © 2010 Diana Randall / Alan D. David, BMI V1 I see trouble coming, ita€™s just around the bend Lurking in the beauty of pretty Jenny Lynn Temptation burning neath the silk and lace The devila€™s eyes on an angela€™s face Always guard your heart around Jenny Lynn V2 Lookina€™ just like Heaven but always raising Hell Trouble is her game and she plays it oh so well Dona€™t call her bluff cause youa€™ll never win You aina€™t gotta chance a€˜gainst Jenny Lynn No you aina€™t gotta chance against Jenny Lynn Chorus Dona€™t let those blues eyes fool ya Or that pretty smile get to ya Theya€™ll always lead you to a bitter end Dona€™t fall victim to her charms And dona€™t ever fall into her arms Youa€™ll always pay the price with Jenny Lynn V3 Shea€™ll play you just like a toy, for her own amusement She has a way with words, Lord she knows how to use them Shea€™ll wrap you round her finger then pull your strings Men are her personal play things Dona€™t ever give your heart to Jenny Lynn Bridge Done too wrong by one too many men Her chest is pounding with the heartbeat of revenge Chorus Tag Dona€™t ever give your heart to Jenny Lynn Out
