Delaney whose full name is Billy Delaney is just 19 years of age and has been making a major name for himself in the UK over the last 2 years. Since launching his career in 2008 Delaney has gone from strength to strength and finished his first year in music by winning a music award for positive music at the Crawley youth awards held in his hometown Crawley. In May 2009 the young superstar picked up where he left off from, he signed to Carreira Records which is owned by the Carreira brothers and was asked to feature on one of Europe’s biggest boy band Nicole Jane’s new single “Is It Me” which was released on all leading download sites such as iTunes etc.. and was backed up by a full UK Tour which Delaney supported them on and gained a lot of experience and exposure to over 20,000 people. Delaney has performed to many sell out venues across the UK from under18 events to theatres and clubs he has even shared the stage and supported some of the UK’s biggest artists such as Tinie Tempah, Wretch 32, Chipmunk, Bashy, Scorcher, Master shortie, Giggs and many more, All this at such a young age is why the industry is labeling him as the next big thing.
