My newest song to date. Lyrics are a bit disturbing, but I didn't want to hold back, cause life isn't always cute a pretty.
Just a small town boy with an acoustic guitar and an alternative and metal background singing about relationships, love, life, politics, emotions, etc. Hard to

Story behind the song
I felt like I had to say something about some of the sick things that happen in life. But seriously, there are things that are arguably sicker than what I wrote about. Either way, the stuff I focused on in this song is so common it's rediculous. Nothing you won't see on the local news.
Lyrics
It was a chance of a lifetime, you're one of the few, A chance to develop and you can't refuse
So innocent with so much to prove, Just wanted to fit in ignoring the rules
A woman now with kids to tend, You hate to lie but can't go back again
You never would listen, just want to be cool, No longer a good girl, you dropped out of school....doesn't make sense at all
He was head of the class refusing to lose, Right after prom he was too drunk to choose
She took off her clothes, made love to the morn(ing), Well nine months later their baby would be born
He insisted and pushed that she would abort, She followed his rules and she would accord
He ran off to college to start a new life, She ended her own later that night
(chorus) Will this all get rinsed away? Let's strive for better things
Can't we wipe this all away? Anymore?
I can't remember when things were great
Well this the world we live in each day, We question our values, get into these things
Turn on the T.V. your daughter's a star, She does it for money she's falling apart
Your son is a junkie, your daughter's a whore, Your wife doesn't love you anymore
You set an example by sleeping around, You lit the fuse now nothing is sound
(chorus) And all I want to do, Is pull you all back in
And show you what you do, From my point of view
Now can't you all just see, We only live life once?
I can't remember when things were all that good....I can't remember anymore.
