I do all my own stuff, whatever pops into my head & out of the studio. Hard to say what that might be.
Songwriter, Producer/ Engineer, multi instrumentalist, and singer. Pretty much in that order. At this point I have a pretty darn nice home studio. That wasn't the case when I did these toons so it's a miracle they came out as well as they did. Planning to post some new toons soon.

Story behind the song
Had just started to play around with some lyrics for this toon when the phone rang. It was this incredibly obnoxious telemarketer, guy wouldn't give up. I finally hung up on him & he CALLED BACK. Tried to tell me _I_ was rude. Well!! I let him have it BigTime. But it got me to thinking about different things that can get on people's nerves. So I came up with this. Curious, but before I was done I got another call from a guy I begrudgingly do some work for occasionally. He asked what I was doing and I said "Trying to finish the lyrics for a new song." He asked what the name of it was and I said "Leave Me Alone." Kind of a short pause and he said "But what's the name of the tune?" We both had a good laugh. Oh, one final note. The last verse mumbles something about my ex-wife. For those who feel compelled to think that whatever any writer puts down has to be autobiographical: This is not. It is merely an extention of a possible situation that certainly could and does exist in many but, of course, not all such relationships. As far as that bossy old witch, I haven't seen or heard from her since the divorce. And that's a good thing. Now that bit about the Landlord, that's a different story...
