Story behind the song
Failing was written in 2005 around the time when I felt like my life was not moving anywhere in terms of worldly achievements. at that time I was not developed as a Christian and thought that the blessings of God were the physical manifestations of things and achievements that were tangible. I was a very ambitious and self-driven person. In 2008 the song took on a different meaning when having acheived these things realize that I still was wanting in that as a Christian spiritually I was falling into the same cycles of sin. Failing speaks of the struggle to overcome such cycles using will power.
