Did you see those believer's good deeds? Then, praise the Lord!
progressive pop jazz blues country christian contemporary melody celtic orchestral bible sax musette
Many genres, Contemporary Christian, Lyrics, instrumentals
I write my own songs ;) I have a very diverse taste in music, from Pop to Classical, including Rock, Folk, Jazz, Country, World Music (Celtic, Romanian), Old Timey Stringband/Bluegrass, and Latin. All these styles are in my Christian Contemporary catagory. I usually write the music first, and then put words to the music. Though I don't sing good enough yet, I though I would put my instrumentals out along with my music. Generally, I think my music/lyrics are getting better, being more skilled now than when I started.

Story behind the song
It's really time to do a Country song. Try to figure out the difference between Matt 5:14-16 and Matt 6:1-4. It seems that this biblical paradox, if solved, seems to say that ones good deeds shouldn't be showy or boasted about by onesself. But one can commend others' good deeds. Good deeds are a good Christian witness to others.
Lyrics
Did You See? Did you see the one with a heavy load? And the one who lends a helping hand? Did you see a stranger from down the road? And the one who sees him "as I am"? Chorus: For as God has gifts to share, One has good gifts to spare, (but) if anyone should stare, Let it be so they praise His name Did you see the one who makes words provoke? And the one who thinks and hold his tongue? Did you see the one who soon gives up hope? And those who encourage everyone? (chorus) Did you see the one who will treat the sick? And the one who has a heart to teach? Did you see the one with a law to fix? And the one who has a word to preach? (chorus) David Davis copyright 2010
