Merry Christmas, I Am

This song honors the soldier, and the sacrifice many of these youths make. It is not a "war protest" song, it just honors our troops, and hopefully everyone can get behind that.

Songwriter, Performer, Grinner, Jimmy See, and a few guitars. I get by with a little help from my friends.
I am Jimmy See. I have played guitar, and sang most of my life, never seriously, except a few church gigs. I love all kinds of music, literally. I played with several friends. I was married for many years, raising children, and let my music go in honor of that, I feel a very worthwhile trade! Now, I am on my own, the kids are all grown, or close enough, and I have lost my flippin mind! I lived in a dark depression for many years, seldom out of bed, due to a chronic pain illness. I have a lyric that says, "I had to loose the mind I had, before it drove me crazy." I have written some 45 or so songs over the last two years, and together they chronicle a slow return from the darkest depression, to the light of living again. Most unfortunate is, I have been only able to render recordings of the later few songs in this series. UPDATE 2012: I am playing more live now, and writing like a madman, laughing more than ever, and feeling better all the time. I will be posting newer songs right away, and hopefully some of the newest will be recorded soon. Remember, LAUGH OUT LOUD!!! o(^_^)o

Story behind the song
This is NOT my usual style, but it came to me, and needed to be done. It is a sad song, and I normally don't do sad. It is a song honoring our troops, but not in protest of the war. They deserve honor, regardless the mission.
