Story behind the song
I wrote and recorded the lyrics for this song in about 4 hours. I was thinking about someone who had fallen short of a relationship goal...someone who was so obsessed with his love interest that he believed her to be a "God" in his eyes. He tried to fly high to reach her, only to be burned by the sun like Icarus.
