There is something strangely reassuring about the fact that a band like Missile Silo Suite is out there right now. Grandparents, Baby boomers, gen-exers, twenty-somethings, teenagers, children, and house pets alike, can sleep sound in the knowledge that rock and roll is not dying a slow, corporately homogenized death. It is alive and well and living in St.Louis, MO. With influences ranging from Pearl Jam ,Jawbreaker, Clutch, to Heart and Led Zeppelin, Missile Silo Suite is creating a rock and roll voice for the new millenium. Featuring the powerful and dynamic Sarah Laak on vocals, the twin guitar attack of A.D Thurston and Anthony Spinali, and the lock-tight, dynamic rhythm section of Chris Bosslet on bass and Jamie Perryman on drums; Missile Silo Suite creates a sound that is enduring, powerful, smart, sexy, and wickedly rock and roll. Produced by Jacob Detering and Jon Christopher Hughes, the band's first release "Holding Pattern" features passionate rock songs, both raw and radio savvy, that combine complex harmonies, fiery guitar chops, soulful melodies, and insightful lyrics. With well crafted songs, plenty of interesting guitar interplay, huge melodic hooks, and an underlying attitude of pure rock fury, "Holding Pattern" is the first step in the evolving sound of Missile Silo Suite.
