Story behind the song

I just think it's funny that there are these ads in "straight" porno mags with the title "Gay Bi Curious" and the guys with "bedroom eyes" in the photos. Is somebody really gonna see the ad and think to himself "hmm, I´m curious. I think I'll give that guy a call"? I guess so, or the ads wouldn't be there. I actually offended a gay friend by asking him what it was like to be gay. He had just come out to me and I was seriously curious. I was really wondering about if his parents knew, what it was like to have to hide your sexual preference, etc. I am also constantly amazed that adults make such a big deal about other adults´ sexual orientation. These seem to be the same people that are afraid to talk about sex or else they view sex as something dirty or forbidden in general. I find that hypocracy amusing. I gotta laugh at human pettiness or I´ll probably cry. Seinfeld humorously addresses this whole subject in the classic episode where Jerry and George are mistaken for a gay couple. So straight people don´t want to be mistaken for gay. Do gay people mind being mistaken for straight? BTW, although I will admit to being mistaken for "man´s man" more than once,I am not gay (not that there's anything wrong with that).
