Songwriter
I'm nothing more than a songwriter trying to present my creations as best I can. I realized I was a composer when I noticed tunes in my head that I'd never heard elsewhere. Lyrics come almost that easy now but my performance skills are lacking. Arranging my own music is time consuming so I often write lyrics to available arrangements when commercial value is not an issue. Although I could benefit from the performing talents of others, I'm a one man band.

Story behind the song
I once changed price signs at a department store. As I was replacing them I was thinking: "Signs go up, and signs come down" to the opening melody of "Abra Cadabra". All I had to do after that was force the rest of the lyric. LOL
Lyrics
Signs go up, and signs come down. Our crew is moving 'round and 'round. 'Round and 'round and 'round the store from Mens to Juniors, Boys and more. Every sign must be correct, and there's a bunch we must inspect. RF units flash and scan, and show the options we have at hand. Chorus: No sweat, no sweat for Ad Set. We simply reach out and grab it. No sweat, no sweat for Ad Set. No sweat for Ad Set! The printer's hot. It makes our signs. It prints 'em out to Kohl's design. Then we place them where we should, replacing signs no longer good. (repeat chorus) We switch out toppers to express a one day special on a sexy dress. Silk and satin, leather or cloth. Black lace panties are now half off. Store-wide toppers say much more about events throughout the store. Save with charge cards and Seniors Day. It's seems a lot, but I have to say: (repeat chorus) By the time the store is closed we're warmed up like some red-hot coals. Red-hot Kohl's, lighting diminished, we work on till our mission is finished. Signs go up, and signs come down. Our crew is moving 'round and 'round. (repeat 2 twice)
