One of eight songs my 7 and 9 year old daughters collaborated on. We had less than a week to learn all the songs, record them, and mix them. It was a blast.
This song was the catalyst for the entire album project. My daughters and I decided to record this song as a surprise Christmas present for my wife. We only had about two hours to record it while my wife was out Christmas shopping and we only had a cheap/crappy mic from a karaoke machine to record vocals with. I recorded both acoustic guitar parts with an Epiphone Les Paul Ultra II on the Nanomag acoustic pickup. The vocal tracks were laid down in two takes.
