Matthew's focus is on writing meaningful songs and performing live. He pleases the crowd with his strong vocal ability, sing-along songs, audience participation, improvised saxophone solos, and wireless sax microphone for serenading the ladies and leading conga lines. Songs begin with 12 string acoustic guitar and vocals, and often he makes a looped guitar phrase live so he can play saxophone on the fly. Instrumental jamming is another spontaneous and fun element he incorporates into his show. He mixes his original songs with hundreds of cover songs covering mostly classic to modern rock and jazz. He has arranged a unique repertoire including songs by Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, John Mayer, the Beatles, Elvis Presley, and Journey to name a few. Upon request, he also has hundreds of saxophone solos he performs with instrumental backing tracks. These songs span a wide variety of titles in the jazz and pop genres, perfect for dinner music and classy parties desiring soft elegant music. Matthewâs original songs are best described as âœa relaxing blend of rock, jazz, and acoustic music to melt your stress away.â He released his debut CD entitled, âœCalling Outâ - and is about to release a live album with hot new material. He is currently playing the Orlando circuit at clubs including Orlando Brewing and House of Beer. He is also hosting Open Mic / Jam Nights to encourage music amateurs and students to perform in public. He feels that live music is a noble cause worth standing up for.
