I'M VERY UPSET ABOUT THE MESS WE HAVE IN THE GULF AND ALL THE DAMAGE.
Lyrics
Black Surf Risin' Words & Music By Paul Wilson vocals by Newell Baytle copyright pwmusic1 6/05/10 1) Past the wind and rain of hurricanes and floods, The gulf coast is bracing for the worst that's yet to come. A gushing devil with it's mighty wrath. A thick black wave covering everything in it's path. Chorus) Black surf is rising on the Gulf of Mexico, The world's holding it's breath to see where it will blow. From Louisiana to the Florida Keys. Floats the demon's blood, hell bent on destroying you and me. 2) The fish and fowls in our sea and on our land, Can't survive this plague cause by the greed of man. Our wet lands and beaches are littered with black sludge, The children of fisherman will be hungry before it's done. Chorus) Black surf is rising in the Gulf Of Mexico, The world's holding it's breath to see where it will blow. From Louisiana to the Florida Keys, Floats the demon's blood, hell bent on destroying you and me. Bridge) How many gallons of our tears and of our blood, Will it take to wash away the damage that been done. I think God will have to cry ten thousand tears, Every day... for the next five hundred years. Chorus) Black surf rising on the Gulf Of Mexico, The world's holding it's breath to see where it will blow. From Louisiana to the Florida Key Floats the demon's blood hell bent on destroying you and me.. Tag) Black surf is rising on the Gulf of Mexico.

A poignant song that conveys all our fears when a disaster like this happens. I definitely get a sense of drama with this track. Great melody and very well performed.
