My name is James Murrell. I am a guitarist and composer from Ohio. My style is jazz but I blend in influences from rock, blues, R&B, folk, & world music. I pray
I wrote "Baby, I Don't Know Why" originally for a "Getting Your Guitar Sound" class assignment at berkleemusic.com. It a class for learning how to get your own personal guitar sound and to copy famous guitar sounds. I used many of the assignments to write new music with and this one turned out great. The lyrics are about being in love and discovering that you love someone out of the blue.
