My name is James Murrell. I am a guitarist and composer from Ohio. My style is jazz but I blend in influences from rock, blues, R&B, folk, & world music. I pray
I wrote the main rhythm riff for "Fire Dance" when I was a teenager. I would play it every now & then and add more to the song over the years. I wanted to make my last album about the source of my life & music, so I decided to finish it after all these years.
The lyrics are about how life can feel like jumping through flames. I hope you enjoy "Fire Dance".
