The last tune I recorded with my beloved 1955 Les Paul Goldtop before I sold it...stupid me. I do all instrumentation and vocals. This tune would sound really nice with a REAL blues vocalist ;-)

Hello, my name is Bob Dreher and I welcome you to the FusionWeld page! I write and record music as a hobby and a passion with friends I have made over the years locally and around the world, through the internet. Although some tunes I finish by myself, I find that everyone has something different to offer. It always amazes me how even one person can change a song through their contributions and ideas...and almost every time it is on a positive level. I have no desire for fortune and fame, just the fact that I would like as many people as possible to hear the music we make together. My greatest wish is that someone will find it enjoyable. Thats all I could ask for.

Story behind the song
Just messin with a standard blues progression. The tune is sentimental to me because it was the last tune I recorded with the goldtop.Hammond B3 organ will be added at a later date.
Lyrics
Verse 1 Lord I've been lonely She's just so far away Well I'm down and I'm hurtin Why did I let her stray? I want her back in my arms I need her here today Verse 2 Well I missed her so badly I didn't know what to do Yeah I've missed her so badly I didn't know what to do If she were back in my arms Oh yeah, I'd let her sing for you...just like this Verse 3 Didn't mean to mistreat her I didn't know what I had But now that she's gone You it makes me feel so bad You know those Les Paul Blues Are the worst I've ever had Verse 4 I've got to get her back I tell you this, I know is true I'll keep on tryin to find her Until my days are through I've got those hypnotizin, mesmerizin Gold top Gibson Les Paul Blues
