Lyrics
Chorus- Can you hear it? When the music starts It captures and it holds, it holds Can you hear it? When the music starts Just listen to the drum beat as it rolls From Kingston to Oakland, they're rocking to the beat Just see them dancing in the street Moving their hips, moving their feet Everyone's dancing, everyone you meet Grooving in the spirit of love Reggae, rock and rub-a-dub Come on and dance this one with me ‘Cause it's a reggae jubilee Chorus (with variation reply) Can you hear it? (I can hear it) When the music starts (rhythm of our hearts) It captures and it holds, it holds (the melody of our souls) Can you hear it? (I can hear it) When the music starts (watch it climb the charts) Just listen to the drum beat as it rolls (the melody drives our souls) The people, rich and poor, they're moving to the sound They fill the streets in every town Women in skirts, women in gowns Everyone’s smiling; none are wearing frowns Jammin’ with a style and attitude Feel the music; love the mood People as far as eyes can see Cause it's a reggae jubilee Chorus again The people, young and old, they're groovin’ to the rhythm You've got to move or do something Jammin’ is fun, but not a sin Everyone’s jammin’ man, where have you been And come on now girl, get on your feet Feel the rhythm; feel so sweet Come on and dance this one with me Cause it's a reggae jubilee Chorus again
