February 25, 1973 as a college senior an 18-year-old kid came left of center and hit me head-on in a car crash. Hospitalized it kept me from graduating with my classmates. I had to attend summer school to complete my degree. I took with me to summer school an old guitar along with the album and songbook "The Silver Tongued Devil And I" by Kris Kristofferson. As I tried to learn my first song I realized the practice time had been the longest I had gone without thinking about the wreck and all the problems it had caused. It had killed the kid who had crashed into me and he was an only child. Since learning "The Silver Tongued Devil And I," I have turned to the songs of Kris Kristofferson during times of trouble in my life. In 1999 I lost my older son, Tad, in a car wreck during his junior year at Fairmont State College and in 2003 my wife decided to divorce me. When I got into an apartment of my own I turned to the songs of Kristofferson, Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Jimmy Buffet and others. After a few months I began writing my own songs and "Uranus" is the result. www.reverbnation.com/vicfitzsimmons Other sites: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=101838296 http://cdbaby.com/cd/vicfitzsimmons Contact Info: fitzuranus@yahoo.com Phone: (304) 758-2305

Lyrics
Do any of you ladies want to see my six pack abs I am brainstorming trying to impress They come with a massage out in my garage And a little liquor to help relieve your stress Well, my line did not work I am really not surprised I am brainstorming trying to hussle I don't have much endurance but I do have life insurance That is way more attractive than any belly muscle Chorus: I've got those dollar bills that gives the ladies their thrills They're so cute in the ways they use to con They practice their drills in the valley and the hills And when you sober up your money's gone, gone, gone You don't know where it went but all your money's spend And all that remains is a stale perfumey scent Bridge: I don't care if you are stout or if you workout When it comes to cash she's nothing but a glutton I don't care what you call it she loves muscle in your wallet More than any muscle in your belly button I want a left handed lady or a right handed lady A red head, blonde, brunnet, black or grey I won't treat you like a lepper if your hair is salt and pepper I believe you will love what I have to say Chorus
