Formed in early 2000, the idea behind Power Movement Project has been to set fire to negative influence throughout music that can not easily fit into one particular genre. Over the past four years, the band has performed in the Baltimore/Washington region translating emotions through forms of Hip-Hop, Funk and Reggae. Power Movement Project released their debut album entitled "SELF" in January of 2002 and it has continued to sell rapidly. Their follow-up album is due to be released in spring 2004. Since the release, PMP has opened for national acts including Busta Rhymes, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Fishbone, Eek-A-Mouse and Sister Carol. Television appearances include Fox Sports (Mobile Skatepark Series - 54321), Pepsi's Project X (WB50) and MTV's College Television Network. Now stationed in Bowie Maryland, Power Movement Project introduces powerful new material.
