A picture perfect modern acoustic love song from the last place on earth you'd expect it from. Though, hell, Ministry did cover "Lay Lady Lay"...
industrial acid street doom stoner sludge

Mettaya = Nirvana X Metallica / Black Sabbath
Mettaya is all about new music from familiar origins. While the ingredients are common, it's the care in their proportion and seasoning that makes the dish so tasty. Heavy metal used to it's highest purpose, no pun intended. A rethinking of what heavy music is, was, and could be, daring to tread where few 'heavy' musicians would even be caught dead thinking about. Mettaya is the 'heavy' sister band to Radiosmack, also Dan fronted and lead, the no-holds-barred counterpoint to the 'lighter' (ish) Rock/Traditional sounds of that band. You may just like both!

Story behind the song
Just listen and I think you'll figure it out.
Lyrics
I wanna say somethin' sweet To that girl I'll never meet Even Though I'm not sure What all these words are for What am I supposed to say You don't exist anyway Just a hurtin' in my head First I'm breathin' now I'm dead Don't know what I have to do To prove I have a heart I just wanna get next to you Before I fall apart How I wish I could see your face How I'd drown in your embrace What are you supposed to do Look in the mirror there are you If I could coax you out my dreams Tears wouldn't flow in streams Just a moment of your touch Is that asking all so much? Don't know what I have to do To prove I have a heart I just wanna get next to you Before I fall apart Well I'm so glad you're here I was becoming afraid of fear Where do you wanna go Infinity in stereo The rest of the world's just noise Sneaky girls and goofy boys Forgot what I wanted to say Doesn't matter anyway Thanks to you Thanks to you
