DISCLAIMER: These are older versions of my songs.. just for people who are interested in hearing the evolution of them FOR THE NEW BAND DEMOS CLICK THE LINK BELOW http://www.soundclick.com/bands/5/thedeadtimequeensmusic.htm These songs have been recorded at different times, with different people (drummers, some vocalists etc) I KNOW THE RECORDING QUALITY SUCKS!! The occasional little bit here and there is someone elses input (thanks everyone) but about 98% is my writing. they're all quite different and probably won't be for most people I'm pretty lazy with these songs, well lazy in general. Most of them are very underdeveloped. I write such a great deal of music that i often dont "finish" stuff or properly record songs, and these are mostly songs that i've written that i haven't played in bands. Also most of the vocals have to be re-recorded in a place that i can make noise (i live in an apartment) and i do almost all the recording there. Story behind the song
this song was one of first songs i wrote with a key change. actually it has about 8 of them in total. i had it basically written and we changed a few things on the spot, like in the chorus, i think we cut out a bar. i added the vocals and most of the guitars afterwards. the basic tracks were recorded on the same day as "pat and curt jam " just some weird shit, also probably the first song i wrote with a country type guitar line, like the one cha two cha picking thing i love the rhythm tracks on this song, i think they came together in about 3 takes, on the chorus part i especially love the groove curt- drums pat- original bass (which was too quiet so i overdubbed another pretty well playing the same thing) kelsey- vocals /guitars
