Electronica, punk, industrial.
I began my love with making music by creating cut-ups of music and vocal snippets recorded on audio tape. My musical tastes at that time were hip-hop and the soundtracks to the Commodore 64 computer games I was playing and trading. Later I progressed to the guitar spending years recording with friends or in bands onto 4-track cassettes. As soon as I got my first PC I began to realise the music I could hear in my head using audio and midi. Since then I have been in several bands but always kept up what I call "my stuff". The styles of music I write and produce are eclectic, often taking inspiration for the genre of music I am listening to at the time. I use any sound which seems suitable for my needs, I play guitar, bass, keyboards and sing.

Story behind the song
In 2009 Mysteryn11 began work on a new electronica album. He had been with the band “Sense” for a few years and was enjoying some success with them, playing the occasional concert, but needed to express his ongoing fascination with electronic music and dance oriented beats with another solo project. The songs slowly took shape and although quite different from one another in style, had a cohesive sound. Two years before this he had created the album “Stop being clever” (2007), but he realized that this collection of songs had very little in common with that ultra-smooth project. This was full of low sample-rate noises, distorted synthesizers and dirty production. Though extremely satisfied with this album something happened during the final stages of mixing and mastering. Whilst listening back he decided that this was a very complete and finished summary of what he was trying to do with electronic music. This was, to all intents and purposes, an ending. Music his life, he did not mean that this was the end of music making. This was the end of a 15 year chapter of his life – his interest in pure electronic music. Now it was time to pick up guitars again, plug in the microphone and start singing. “Coming” (2010) was finished – he would release it, promote it and give it all the loving attention that a fully realized artistic project deserved, but it marked the end. Something else would be “coming” next.
